OLLI at UA offers engaging, affordable courses in both in-person and online formats. Members help select a wide range of topics, including history, science, wellness, arts, technology, and more. Courses are available during fall, spring, and summer terms.
Field Trips
OLLI at UA offers exciting day and overnight trips within Alabama and nearby states. Explore diverse destinations such as museums, wildlife refuges, historic sites, and cultural attractions. Recent trips include birding at Avondale Park, the W.C. Handy Museum, Talladega Superspeedway, and the University of Alabama Engineering School. From guided cemetery tours to brewery visits, each trip provides unique opportunities for learning and adventure.
Socials
OLLI at UA members enjoy cozy coffee gatherings, delicious lunch and supper clubs, and after-hours socials. Join us outside the classroom for fun, food and connection.
OLLI Shares
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at The University of Alabama, Auburn University and the University of Alabama in Huntsville collaborate to offer online lifelong learning courses each semester through the OLLI Shares program.
