OLLI at UA Space Camp

Have you ever wanted to know what it really takes to be an astronaut?

Join us for an out-of-this-world adventure, memorable German feast, and a history lesson on the Rocket City through the space program. Registration is through OLLI at The University of Alabama Huntsville.

Transportation for the trips will be by charter bus or vans and a restroom on the bus is not guaranteed. The type of transportation provided is at the sole discretion of the OLLI Program Director. The Charles H. Coolidge Medal of Honor Heritage Center was created to educate present and future generations about the extraordinary sacrifices of those who went above and beyond the call of duty to preserve the cause of freedom. The Medal of Honor and Chattanooga have been intertwined since the Medal’s inception in 1862. The first six recipients of the Medal were from Andrew’s Raiders.

Depart from Birmingham

All Greater Birmingham field trips depart from the Vestavia Hills Civic Center. Transportation is typically by a City of Vestavia Hills bus or van, with limited seating. Members pay in cash towards the cost of gas. Registration fee must be paid with registration. Cancellations may only be made by contacting Registration Services. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations after the cancellation date. Substitutions are not allowed.
